Description: A Holiday Concert to celebrate Independence Day will be given on Sunday, June 29th at Gage Park Amphitheater at 7:30 pm by Marshall's Band.
The program will include the Color Guard from the Marine Junior ROTC at
Topeka High School, a Salute to the present and past members of all the
Armed Forces. music will include Semper Fidelis March, Gaelic Rhapsody, The Jazz Singer, Sunflower Song, Stout Hearted Men, Selections from "Annie", Bad Boy Boogie Woogie and Stars and Stripes Forever.
A children's march to "Colonel Bogey " will round out the program.
The concert is free to the public.
Marshall's Civic Band has brought the Topeka community together every
summer since 1884. Clifford Manning will direct this concert. He is the retired Band Director at Washburn Rural High School and a member of the Kansas Music Teachers Hall of Fame.
