Come to Landon Musical for a 2-act musical, "Gone with the Breeze."

The play is Nov. 19 and 20 at 7 p.m. at the Landon Middle School Auditorium.

Synopsis:

The whole country is talking about Lucy Belle Bankhead's sensational new novel, "Gone with the Breeze." When Hollywood's Lone Pine Films announces it's planning "Breeze" as its next picture, crowds of aspiring young actresses descent on the studio.

Of course, the studio already knows they'll cast Peggy Tempest for Jezebel's part. She's the most powerful star in town and will guarantee a hit, but she's also the most temperamental one. To keep her in line, the producers pretend they want an "unknown" for the part. The scheme appears to work. Then it's discovered the studio doesn't have the film rights to the novel, and Peggy starts suing everyone in sight. How the problem is resolved will have everyone doubled over in laughter.
