Anyone in the world want to comment on the Pennsylvania Primary?

It would appear from the results of the PA Primary that small town America just might be a little bitter at Barack Obama.
Although Clinton was expected to win, I think the double-digit victory was more the result of Obama's recent comments & controversies than anything Clinton did to secure that victory.
Obama has not had a "win" since the Rev. Wright story broke and America may have learned enough about him to solidify their choice for Clinton.
Maybe he ought to consider wearing a U.S. Flag on his lapel.

It’s about time we Kansans realize that the 2nd Amendment gives Americans the “right to bare arms” in order to protect ourselves from tyranny. This tyranny comes in the form of Governmental abuses and or thugs breaking into our homes in the middle of the night. Since the ignorant anti-gun establishment always states “no one needs a fully automatic weapon to go hunting.” Note that it does not mention anything about hunting in the 2nd Amendment!
Please remember this, when governments ban guns, they are prohibiting their honest, law-abiding citizens from owning and using guns to protect themselves and their property. On the other hand, criminals will always find ways to get guns illegally. That’s why we call them “criminals” they work outside the law. I am a firm believer in the concept that if even one student at Virginia Tech University had a C.H.L. (concealed handgun License) and was carrying his weapon on that horrible day, the outcome would have been much different. Perhaps instead of 30 dead, the murdering young thug would have been neutralized before he killed so many. Only fools believe the myth that our local police will arrive just in time to prevent a murder, rape, etc. It’s not that they would not like to. It’s just that they are so few in an increasingly violent world.
I salute the Kansas legislators for their Constitutional, pro-2nd Amendment decision. go kansas!

It was buchenwald, not auschwitz.
The press seems to want to make a "...much ado about nothing..." over Obama's claim that his uncle liberated Auschwitz. It is a non-starter.
I'm far from being an Obama supporter; but I think he was only repeating family war stories that he probably heard as a child.
The real story here is that he has stooped to pandering to the crowd - like many politicians often do when they perceive that they need to elicit the support of a particular group. In that effort, he failed miserably.

Blame for the economy...
The Democrats are quick to blame the current bad economy on the "... failed Bush economic policy." And the liberal press seems to accept that charge without question. As far as they are concerned, if a Democrat said it, then it must be true. Why have they said nothing of Bush's economic policies until now? Could it be that, until crude prices began to spiral out of control, that the economy was booming?
The current economic downturn clearly follows the increase in fuel costs - do the research. Increased gasoline costs adversely affects everyone, especially those earning the least.. There can be no doubt that if the United States had started drilling for oil and gas 10 years ago it would have kept fuel prices down due to increased supply. Neither can there be any doubt as to which political party has kept us from our own exploration and harvesting of natural gas and oil.
What good does a “middle class tax break” do anybody, especially when much of the so-called "middle class" isn't paying any taxes to begin with, when everyone is paying so much more towards energy costs. Do you want a tax break or would you prefer to pay $2.25/gl for gas? That $30 to $50 more each week you've been paying on fuel costs would go a long way to making a mortgage! In addition, increased fuel prices drive up the costs of every other necessity and compounds the problems faced by the average American household. As a function of income, a decrease in energy costs will help the middle class a lot more than anything Obama and the Democrats are proposing. Furthermore, increased domestic crude oil production will provide some, albeit temporary, relief from the national security implications and imbalance of trade caused by all our energy dollars going overseas. Increased domestic production, NOW, will give us the temporary relief we need NOW and give us time to convert our transportation system to an alternative fuel source such as Compressed Natural Gas and/or Hydrogen Fuel Cells.
Clearly, the current economic crisis, including the mortgage meltdown and the bank failures, are directly attributable to the relatively sudden and sharp increase in crude oil prices. To blame it on the "... failed Bush economic policies..." is absurd, but the uninformed will never get it. Gas prices they get and for the "... mainstream media..." to accept the Democrats unfounded, unsubstantiated, accusations without question - or for the Republicans to not capitalize on this - is criminal. Why has this not been a push for McCain-Palin and the rest of the Republican candidates?
