A Flash Flood Watch is now active for Washington, Nemaha, Marshall, Clay, and Cloud counties through late tonight. The ground is saturated in these areas with more than 5 inches of rain over the past few days. It won't take much more for flooding conditions to break out. Northeast Kansas expecting about an inch of rain by tonight.
Otherwise, the area is mainly done with round 1 of storms this morning. Round 2 moves in this afternoon and evening. Heavy rain is possible as moisture gets drawn up ahead of a storm system.

That storm system will also draw up very hot air for this afternoon. Highs will make it into the middle 90s, but because it'll be so humid, it's going to feel more like 105.
Cooler weather settles in behind the system tomorrow as highs fall into the 80s and drier weather moves in Saturday evening.
