Police: Escapee may have absconded with Safe Harbor for Pets director

John Manard, 26, has been missing since Sunday afternoon after escaping from the Lansing Correctional Facility.
Authorities say a woman who runs the Safe Harbor Prison Dog program is missing and may be with Manard.
Toby Young, 48, was at the facility Sunday and has not been seen since.
Prison officials say Manard and Young may be in the van used to transport the dogs to the prison.
It is a 1997 white Ford cargo van with Kansas license plate numbers SHD OGS.
The van has Safe Harbor Prison written on the side, in gold.
Manard is serving a life sentence for a murder in Johnson County nearly 10 years ago.
