Deputy Fire Chief lets fundraiser go to his head

Topeka — A Topeka Deputy Fire Chief lost plenty of hair recently – but he can’t blame male pattern baldness.
Dave Sterbenz agreed to shave his head, if members of Topeka Firefighters Local 83 raised $500 for the Arthritis Foundation. The Union and members of the Topeka Fire Department raise $1,600.
Debput Chief Sterbenz said his new ‘do’ will take a little getting used to, but he was happy to bare his scalp for a good cause.
