Galena, Kan. Several square blocks in downtown Galena are closed to traffic after the rear of the Green Parrot Bar collapsed into a sinkhole.
Emergency crews have been on the scene since early Monday morning when the rear of the building housing the tavern began caving into the sinkhole. It's believed the building was empty at the time.
The sinkhole has forced authorities to close a two-block radius through the night, and they said the block around the structure will be shut down for quite some time.
Crews are working to stabilize the building.
