A team cleaning up contamination from a gas leak in a Lawrence neighborhood will provide an update on the process.
Tuesday, the Kansas Department of Health and Environment will be at Lawrence City Hall and they will answer questions on the agency's clean-up efforts at Ninth and Louisiana.
The KDHE has been de-contaminating the soil in the area after an underground gas leak helped fuel the fire that burnt down one home in April.
They traced the leak back to a tank at a nearby gas station. They expect to have most of the spilled fuel removed within a year.
