One year ago today, Dennis Rader admitted he was the BTK serial killer and now a woman is writing a book about his plans to attack more people.
Now, a woman who has had many conversations with Rader while he's been behind bars said he intended to kill several more people around the state.
Kristin Casarona is writing a book about Rader.
She said Rader claims he would stalk victims while traveling the state as a census worker between 1988 and 1990.
Casarona said one of his targeted victims was in southwest Topeka.
“He had parked at the Dillon's at 21st and Belle and walked to this person's house and broke into it and sat there and waited for her to come home and had everything ready and was going to kill her,” she said.
The author said it's fortunate the woman didn't come home that night.
She said Rader also claims he had intended victims in Salina and other northeast Kansas communities.

It is not very widely known but me and my 2 children were on Raders list. We lived right down the street from him and for a year were stalked. I took my children and left soon after his arrest because of all the media. We were inviyed to the Montel show but I declined because of my kids. Dennis Rader did not take our lives but he did take away alot of our freedom and closeness to my family who still live in Wichita. My daughter had nightmares for months and my son still does not trust anyone in a uniform. We stayed out of the media alot. I hate to see all of these people come out of the wood work talking about how he did this and he did that! The true Rader was known all to well by myself and my children. The things he did were enough to send me into a deep depression and scare the kids. When we turned down the Montel show they were aweful to me. I felt like I was looking out for my kids by saying no. I wanted them to forget about him. I guess all I wanted to say is to the people out there who make up or add to their stories to think about the ones who really went through alot and the things they might have lost. NO.... we did not loose our lives like so many others but we did loose some things.....
