Sow your seeds on Mother's Day
The planting season is here. But, with below normal temperatures expected Thursday night, one should take precautions or risk losing their crop.
By now, gardeners can plant sweet potatoes, tomatoes and onions. Wait on watermelon, cantelope and cucumbers, said Annette Jackson, co-owner of Jackson's Greenhouse.
Jackson said weed killer and fertilizer should go on lawns now.
