Topeka A scuffle broke out at the Expocentre on Saturday.
Police took four females into custody. Three were juveniles and released to their parents. Police gave them citations for battery.
Charges are pending in the arrest of the adult female. One woman received cuts and bruises to her forehead, but no one else had injuries.
“The carnival runs through Sunday, and it’s a good atmosphere,” Corporal Thad Winkelman, Shawnee County Sheriff’s Department, said. “It’s not a common occurrence.”
