Aquarium officials in Galveston, Texas are celebrating the birth of a very special baby penguin.
The chick's parents are two penguins that survived a terrible truck crash in August. Read more about the accident.
The truck was transporting two dozen penguins along with some tropical fish and an octopus from the Indianapolis Zoo to Galveston when it crashed.
Four penguins and several fish were killed.
The baby hatched November 12 and met the press Tuesday.
It is the first of eight chicks expected to hatch in the coming months from the relocated penguins.
