After finishing 2 and 2 in the pre-season, KC opens up their regular season at home this Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Chiefs starting quarterback Trent Green and Bengals starter Carson Palmer both have something in common coming into this weekend.
While Palmer continues his comeback from reconstructive knee surgery after suffering a season-ending blow last year.
Don't forget it was Trent Green who came back from the same injury back in 2000 just before joining the Chiefs from St. Louis.
"I'm glad to see he's playing well, healthy, and back," KC quarterback Trent Green said. "It's a process, this year's going to be a process for him. From the first game getting over the mental part of it to taking your first hit - first hit period, let alone the first hit into your legs when somebody rolls into ya, but he's doing great to this point."
Again, the Chiefs open-up the season Sunday afternoon at Arrowhead Stadium, kickoff scheduled for noon.
