Two truckdrivers are dead after their semi-trailer trucks collided head-on Sunday on U.S. 50 four miles west of Emporia.
The highway patrol says 48-year-old Richard Whitacre of Omaha and 27-year-old Shaun Mullins of Chowchilla, Calif. were killed in the crash four miles west of Florence.
Troopers said Whitacre's eastbound truck crossed the center line and hit Mullins head-on.
