Chiefs Training Camp: Bowe doesn't show; Johnson ends holdout
8:46 p.m. Friday, August 3, 2007
Chiefs first round draft pick Dwayne Bowe, a wide receiver out of LSU, has missed the first week of training camp so far, with no end to the holdout in sight.
Currently Bowe is in Atlanta with former teammate and fellow un-signee JaMarcus Russell.
Russell, the number one draft pick, not only shares the same alma mater as Bowe, but the same agents.
Meanwhile, the number two overall pick did manage to ink a deal today though.
Calvin Johnson ended an eight-day holdout with the Chiefs AFC West counterpart Detroit.
The wide receiver and the Lions agreed to a six-year, $64-million deal.
