Since 1996, Cars for Christmas has given away more than three hundred cars. The program was started by a Kansas City man known as the Car Santa. The non-profit organization is now looking for donors and deserving families in Topeka.
Terry Franz, who started the program, says it's a donation that can change lives.
"I've got the best job in the world," says Franz. "Nothing funner than watching their faces when you hand them the keys."
The non-profit is looking for donors and those who qualify for free cars.
More information on Cars for Christmas is available at www.cars4christmas.org or call (913) 244-0582.
