An HIV scare in the St. Louis area was prompted by a tattoo artist who authorities say used guitar strings to inject dye in his customers.
Customers are urged to get tested for HIV, Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C.
The unlicensed parlor was operated out of a house in Jennings, Mo.
The operator was arrested earlier this month. His name was not released.
Anyone who got a tattoo at the residence in Jennings can call the Saint Louis County Health Department at (314) 615-1630.
