Topeka Escaped inmate Jeffrey Parsons is back in custody after a police standoff that lasted almost three hours.
Police responded to calls around 9:50 Saturday evening reporting that Parsons was hiding out in a home in North Topeka. Around 12:30, after nearly three hours of negotiations, Parsons was apprehended and returned to the Wabaunsee County Jail.
Parsons escaped the jail Friday night while awaiting trial.
