How about some MINK League action? The Topeka Golden Giants hosted the Clarinda A's Friday night at Hummer Sports Park.
K-State's AJ Morris was on the bump for Topeka. He was looking good as he struck out Clarinda's Adam Shupe in the second.
There were six solid innings of work for Morris Friday night.
In the fourth, however, there's trouble. With runners at second and third for the A's, Brandon Mikkelson pokes a hot shot to the shortstop, Ty Legan got ahold of it. That scored a Clarinda run and the A's go up 1-0.
They go on for the 3-to-1 victory over the Giants. Topeka is next in action on Sunday at Hummer.
