Kansas man arrested after 7 pounds of meth found in car

A Kansas man is under arrest in Arizona after authorities seized seven pounds of methamphetamine from the speeding car he was driving.
Mesa police say 38-year-old Jose Ramon Ayala of Topeka was booked into jail Sunday night on three drug counts after an officer stopped his car. Inside the car, police found two ziploc bags full of meth, which was worth between $50,000 and $60,000 dollars.
Ayala told police he was taking the drugs to Kansas.
