Hundreds of Kansans forced out of their home by flash flooding and high water and more evacuations are likely as rainfall is expected to last for days.
In Topeka, about 300 people living near Shunganunga Creek have been evacuated. Shawnee County emergency management officials report about 500 water rescues from homes and vehicles by eight a.m. Monday.
