Despite the chill, a great day for up and away

Hot air must have helped warm-up Friday's balloon rides over Topeka.

Balloons took-off near Southwest 22nd and Chelsea Friday afternoon.

The pilots are with the Great Plains Balloon Club.

Despite the chilly weather, they said today was a perfect flight day.

That's because there was barely any wind to disrupt the rides.
