49 News previews Ringling Bros. circus

The Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey's master juggler Vicki Zslick comes from a long line of jugglers.

"My parents have been in it, my grandfather, my grandmother has been in it," she said. "So, all my life."

Zslick was raised in the circus industry, and after many years juggling the hand-eye coordination required to be a great juggler comes natural for her. She says she's worked up to seven items, including knives.

For those who want to take up juggling, she says, a lot of patience and practice is required. She recommends at least one hour of practice a day.

Before each show, the members of the circus hold a pre-show. That's where community members can meet the performers and get a closer look at the animals. That's one hour before the show. You can even learn juggling techniques. Scroll down for show times and ticket information
