The candles and the incense are lit.
And this is a yoga class unlike anything you or your dog have ever seen.
"There have been several naysayers, people that say, 'yoga for dogs? That's crazy!' I tell them to come and watch class," Doga Instructor Kari Harendorf said.
So ABC News did.
Harendorf, who happens to be both a yoga teacher and a vet tech, says her dog, Charlie, began his quest for Zen five years ago.
"Every time I would get my mat out, Charlie would come and lay right on top of it. I would go into down dog and he would just lie under me and kind of look up at me. He put his paw in my hand and we started doing yoga together," she said.
And they started something of a trend. There are now Doga classes across the globe.
And Doga is coming to a mat near you, no matter where you live. The first Doga exercise video will be released later this year.
Instructors say there are real health benefits for the dog, that the massaging helps digestion, even lowers blood pressure. No word on what it does to the dog's level of embarrassment.
ABC News Reporters did notice most of the dogs were practically asleep by the end of Doga class.
