Oprah's Big Give keeps growing

Oprah gave us $10,000 and we've more than doubled that amount.

Here's how: Our telethon and other cash donations brought in about $3,000.

We've received about $3,500 worth of paint and labor for painting, along with more than $700 worth of cabinets, $100 in kitchen supplies and $2,000 worth of new kitchen appliances. KTKA TV is donating one thousand dollars to OBG through the Simons Family Fund at the Douglas County Community Foundation. That adds up to $10,300.
