Some Hayden High School seniors used an old fashion mode of transportation to save on gas.
Students parked their cars in Gage Plaza and rode bikes and scooters to school today.
The ride is about a mile long.
Participants say it was a way for the senior class to go green.
One senior says it hurt, but he was glad he did it.
"My right leg hurts, my left leg's pretty good, but it was a lot of fun," Hayden senior Garret McGraw said. "We had a police escort and there were quite a few kids out here so it was a lot of fun."
