Showers are possible this morning south of I-70, but beyond that the area should remain dry.
Dry air will nudge its way in from northeast to southwest and eventually erode the morning clouds. Highs will reach the middle 80s with a light east wind of 5 to 10 mph. Tonight will be quite comfortable with mainly clear skies, and overnight lows falling all the way to the lower 60s.
The skies will clear and the atmosphere will dry up after noon today for most of Kansas. Enjoy low levels of humidity today and Friday, before it starts building back up Saturday. You can keep an eye on current weather conditions and the skies over Northeast Kansas by checking out our weather page.
Friday is picture perfect: Sunny with highs in the middle to upper 80s, low levels of humidity and a light east wind of 5 mph. Partly cloudy during the overnight, with lows in the lower to middle 60s.
Saturday, moisture will start to return to the area as winds shift around to the south. Partly cloudy skies can be expected with highs in the upper 80s. A few storms may be possible overnight and last through Sunday afternoon with highs in the upper 80s.
