DVD Review:
Film Critic Keith Van Sickle explains why he thinks "Street Kings" is worth adding to your collection
Keanu Reeves and Forest Whitaker star in "Street Kings," which came out on DVD today.
Film Critic Keith Van Sickle calls the movie an "effective, well-crafted, urban crime drama."
Reeves plays a Los Angeles Police detective whose wife was murdered.
"It's a good story about his paranoia," Van Sickle said. "He didn't know who to trust in the force, who not to trust."
The movie is filled with excitement and should keep adult audiences interested for its entire 109-minute runtime, he said.
Despite that, this crime thriller did not perform well in the theaters.
"I think 'Street Kings' is one of the most underrated movies of the year," Van Sickle said.
The DVD comes with 15 deleted scenes, alternate scenes and more. The double-disc set comes with a digital copy you can store and watch on your computer.
Van Sickle recommends buying the DVD.
