K-State kicks off their season Saturday night as well at Bill Snyder Family Stadium.
The 'Cats are coming off a disappointing 5-7season, and this year KSU is eager to put last year's disappointment in the rear view mirror.
The first test for the Wildcats: North Texas.
"I can tell you that I am concerned about this team because they are very confirmed in how they want to play. They've made a concerned effort to establish themselves. Anytime you go from 100 and something to 40th, I think it was 111th to 47th in offense, in one year that's a big jump," Head Coach Ron Prince said.
The 'Cats and the Mean Green will kick things off at 6:05 p.m. in Manhattan.
