Annual eyeful of beautiful trees

Today, students from the Hope Street Academy helped get the Expocentre ready for the Festival of Trees.

The Kansas Expocentre is getting ready for a big holiday event.

Today, students from the Hope Street Academy helped get the Expocentre ready for the Festival of Trees.

Their duties included laying out some treats.

Soon, the entire area will be filled with beautifully decorated Christmas trees.

And many are eager to get started on decorating.

"I love volunteering. It gives me a good feeling to help out something bigger than myself," Hope Street senior Aaron Oliver said.

You can catch the Festival of Trees starting tomorrow.

It runs through the weekend in Ag Hall.

Children get in free.
