Every time you donate blood, a mini-physical is conducted to ensure that you are healthy enough to donated.
Beginning in January you'll have access to the results.
Community Blood Center announced today that they are launching a Web site for donors to log onto to track your donation history and health information.
David Graham with the Blood Center says that www.savealifenow.org is a great tool for donors to keep track of their health.
"The wellness information that's on our Web site, the Save a Life Rewards Web site, allows donors to track all their donation history but also all their wellness information. Cholesterol, blood pressure, pulse, temperature, information that helps you identify any health issue that occurs very early on," Graham said.
Each donor will be given a donor id card to log into the Web site with.
The health information will be available in three to four business days after you donate.
