Suspect arrested in Pizza Hut robbery

Topeka Police are investigating a robbery to the Pizza Hut, 500 SW 10th.
At approximately 9:17 p.m. Sunday, a male wearing a mask, dark hooded sweatshirt, Carhartt overalls and armed with a handgun entered the rear of the Pizza Hut and demanded money. The suspect then fled on foot.
Topeka Police K-9 Officer Harwood and his partner, K-9 Magnum, responded to the scene and trailed from the Pizza Hut to the parking lot of 820 SW Polk.
Information was later obtained on a possible suspect and Casey Blackwell of 820 SW Polk, Apartment #6 was taken to police headquarters for questioning.
Blackwell was booked into DOC on aggravated robbery.
