49 News Anchor joins in Topeka to Auburn half marathon

49 News sponsored today's marathon and a familiar face from our news team toughed it out in the cold to do what she loves to do.

That's right, 49 News Anchor Sophia Spencer was pumped up and ready to run this morning.

She took right off with the pack from the beginning, and she gave it her all to finish strong.

Her effort made one of her running partners proud.

"We had a blast, and I was really proud of Sophia," said Charles Parsons, Sophia's running partner. "She had a great race, and I loved hearing about her qualifying for Boston. I'm really excited about your going, you'll love it."
