The cost of going digital

Topeka In about a year, all TV broadcasters will be required to switch from analog delivery of our signal to digital.
This week we're getting you ready to make the digital switch.
We've told you why the switch is being made, better signal and more efficient delivery which frees up bandwidth for other uses.
We've also told you who will be most impacted, and, if you're among that group, the bare minimum you'll have to do.
"If viewers are watching free TV or using an antenna, the federal government will subsidize $40 for the cost of a converter which is expected to cost anywhere from $50 to $75," said Carlos Gutierrez, US Commerce Secretary.
But that's the low end, and a converter gets you none of the benefits of digital television.

People who use antenna to tune in their television will be affected by the digital switch. Find out what they have to do, and learn what Cox Communications and Sunflower Broadband are doing for their customers to make the switch easier at KTKA.com/dtv.
You also may have to do nothing, if you subscribe to cable or satellite and have a newer TV, one with a digital tuner. But maybe you want to embrace the digital era and get as much out of it as you can.
To get a new, HD TV, you'll probably spend from $900 up to $2,000.
Standard cable or satellite, which is digital, will start at about $30 a month.
The super vibrant HD costs more per month, approximately $60 to $100. A local custom home theater provider says a complete, top of the line package with HD in multiple locations can cost up to $25,000.

I would like to know where you have to go to be able to purchase one of these converter boxes after you receive the coupon? I see no places mentioned where you go to get one.
