Manhattan residents will have to wait until 2010 to swim at a local pool.
The Manhattan City Park Pool closed last month due to weak concrete.
The city commission decided to get the pool up and running by next summer.
The administration reached that decision before letting companies bid on the project, which they must do.
The new re-open date is set for June 1, 2010 to allow time for that process.
