Huntoon and Gage

Huntoon and Gage

Topeka Police need your help finding a purse snatcher.

Officers say the crimes happened Saturday afternoon within a 15-minute span in the area of Huntoon and Gage.

In three separate cases, police say the women were walking to their cars when a suspect approached them and took, or used force to try to take their purses.

Police are looking for a white or Hispanic man.

He's between 5' 10" and 6' tall, weighing 150 to 160 pounds.

He has a short buzz-cut hair style and was wearing a dark blue t-shirt and dark shorts.

The suspect was driving a 1990s maroon Oldsmobile Alero.

The license plates were stolen dealer tags that read D2289E.
