Checking out the Shawnee County Fair
11:53 p.m. Thursday, July 24, 2008
"I am here at the Shawnee County Fair, and on a day like today there is only two things you can do: go in the pool, or go in the air conditioning and eat some good food. Come on, let's check in," said Meteorologist Alex Harrington.
"So I think I am going to go for the fatty stuff. What is the best stuff I can get my hands on today," said Alex?
"Well, I've seen some delicious looking pies and that double-layer banana cream cake," said Kristen Hearrell."
"Don't look at this sign; we're not going for any of that 'good' stuff," said Alex.

"So you are trying to sell this guy for $15?" said Alex.
"Yeah," Said Tyler Carver.
"For food?" Said Alex.
"Well, whatever you want him for," said Tyler.
"The 4-H Clubs are running the café over at the livestock barns. They probably have some cold drinks," said Kendra Stover.
"25-cents, right? $1.25? Alright," said Alex taking a satisfying hit of his soda.
"Yeah, so you can eat em! Do you have a favorite kind of steak? Do you know any of the steak names?" said Alex to a young cattle presenter.
"Sirloin," said Austin Rosencutter.
"How do you like your's done?" said Alex.
"Medium well," said Austin.
"Medium well, so you don't like any blood in there?" said Alex.
"No way, Jose!" said Austin emphatically.
