One of the greatest Washburn University basketball players was laid to rest Wednesday.
Friends and family said goodbye to Gregory "Buzz" Wilson.
His funeral was held at Washburn's Lee Arena.
Wilson is the seventh leading scorer in Ichabod history and helped lead Washburn to a national title in 1987.
On July 19, the 50-year-old became ill after playing softball and died that night.
