More than 100 Fort Riley MPs to return from Iraq

Approximately 150 Soldiers from the 116th Military Police Company are expected to return from Iraq.
The Soldiers are expected to arrive July 26 and will be reunited with friends, family and the community in a ceremony at 9:30 p.m. at Bldg. 88312 on Custer Hill.
The soldiers are returning from a 15-month tour where they conducted 750 joint combat patrols, drove 500,000 miles, trained 1,680 Iraqi police officers and coordinated $2.5 million of construction projects throughout the Tal Afar District.
About 3,000 Fort Riley soldiers are still deployed overseas.
