Two people are in serious condition in the hospital today after the motorcycle they were on lost control and struck a light pole.
The accident occurred at 2:22 a.m. today.
Drivers were being asked to avoid the area near the 1200 block of Washburn Avenue, but the scene has now be cleared.
AMR took both the driver and passenger to the hospital where they were admitted with life-threatening injuries.
Topeka Police are still investigating the accident and whether speed was a factor.
