City seeks volunteers, those with special skills to clean up

Here, volunteers are helping patch up the ceiling to Ward Hall at K-State. It’s the home to the university’s nuclear reactor.
Many volunteers will tarp structures or pick up trash.
But the City of Manhattan is looking for volunteers with public relations, business, construction and other skills as well. Those who have trucks are also of need.
Want to help?
Manhattan needs volunteers for cleanup. Volunteers can go to the northwest corner of the Bill Snyder Family Stadium parking lot, near Kimball and College Avenues. If you have a vehicle or equipment to volunteer, or need one for cleanup, call 587-2489 or 587-2404. Also, call those numbers if you can provide food to the volunteers. Volunteers also need work gloves, so you can bring those to the Bill Snyder Family Stadium Parking lot, too.
