Government officials want to know what you want to see out on Highway 24.
The Metropolitan Topeka Planning Organization held an open meeting at Seaman High School Wednesday to get ideas for the Highway 24 corridor.
That's the portion from Huxman Road to the Jefferson County line.
So far, people said they want sidewalks, restaurants and social services like doctors and lawyers.
Project manager Fred Schwartz says they still want your ideas.
"We're not gonna accept every comment as, 'Okay, we'll do this,'" he said, "But we will evaluate every one of them and anybody who takes the time to make a comment we will get back to them and say, 'here's why we did it,' 'here's how we did it' or 'here's why we didn't do it.'"
To get your ideas heard call 1-866-478-5271 or visit the project's Web site.
