Top 10 Priorities for Topeka
1. Economic Development
2. Government
3. Quality of Life
4. Education
5. Image/Self-Image
6. Infrastructure
7. Youth and Younger Generation
8. Public Safety
9. Transportation
10. Physical Environment
They are Economic development, Government, Quality of Life, Education and Image.
Heartland visioning is the community-wide effort to gain a common vision for the future
Executive Director William Beteta says from here, the group can get more detailed.
"We'll get very specific when we go into implementation," he said. "When we get strategic alliances going they will come together as a group and again as a community we'll decide if we're gonna do this, what do we need to do?"
