Sperm donor case filed with nation’s highest court

A man fighting for parental rights of the twins created from his sperm says his case has been filed with the United States Supreme Court.
Daryl Hendrix donated his sperm to help a friend become pregnant. He says they had a verbal agreement to share custody of the children. But, the mother doesn’t want Hendrix to have anything to do with the kids.
Kansas law doesn’t give sperm donors any parental rights, unless there’s a written agreement. In October 2007, the Kansas Supreme Court upheld the law. Hendrix hired attorneys in Chicago, which have taken the case to the nation’s highest court.
