10:37 p.m. Thursday, May 1, 2008
Emergency crews rescued a boy who fell into the Kansas River Thursday evening.
Officials say the boy was near the Kansas Avenue Bridge walking on a sandbar.
They aren't sure how he fell in the river, but rescuers were able to get him out quickly.
Authorities aren't releasing the boy's name, but do tell us he is about 12 years-old.
