A program that allows Topeka students to virtually attend school held an open house today.
iQ Academy Kansas provides laptops to middle and high schoolers who don't attend traditional schools.
Students complete homework, go to study hall and even give presentations online.
Director Brooke Blanck says the best part is when kids get to meet each other face to face.
"They can't wait because they've been communicating with those students in class and they've maybe never met face to face," she said. "So finally at one of our iQ Fun parties, they get to get together and meet who they've been communicating with or who's in their class."
