It was Senior Day for the Seaman Vikings as they hosted Manhattan Thursday.
In the bottom of the first, Megan Schnee on the mound for the Indians and Ashley Jurgens reaches first for Seaman, thanks to an errant throw.
The next batter, Sydney Sloan, is called for the strike, but Jurgens sneaks away with a second base steal...
The Indians get out of that inning, but not the game. Seaman wins it 2-0.
Out to Hummer Park, where Topeka West wrapped up its regular season against KC Turner.
In top of the fourth, T-West was already up 6-0 and one out. Turner's Emily Zabielski pops one up off Charger Jaclyn Annis, but Jessica Smith makes the grab and turns the double play at first to get out of the inning.
In the bottom of the fifth, Callie Wright sends one sailing to deep left and Ciera Coffman comes around to score.
That's the ballgame as T-West wins 10-0 on the mercy rule.
