In the third month of an eight-month process, Heartland Visioning has much work to do and many big ideas to sort through.
In May, the group hosted focus groups to foster community conversation and seek out "transformational ideas."
Thirteen focus groups of citizens and elected officials were held around the community. The Heartland Visioning staff interviewed 157 people.
