"Chronicles of Narnia" sequel is "Disney making magic at its finest"

This is the second film based on the beloved books from C.S. Lewis.

In this installment the Pevensie children are transported back to Narnia. Much to their surprise Narnia has been conquered by the Telmarines, and it’s being ruled and is now under the control of King Miraz. He's an evil king who will do anything to keep his throne away from Prince Caspian who ironically is the rightful heir to that position.

It's up to the Pevensie children, Prince Caspian and some new friends to fight, overtake and restore the peaceful beauty of the land.

”Caspian” is a well-made and entertaining film that proves studios can make great-looking films with good stories and make them for the entire family. With that being said, this movie has more action along with a darker side than its predecessor. The story moves at a quick pace with very little drag time.

Director Andrew Adamson does a great job of bringing these stories to the big screen, and it really shows the love and admiration he has for the books. It also helps that the cast returned, and there is more chemistry between them than ever before.

This is Disney making magic at its finest. And, with the first movie making nearly $300 million at the box office -- and millions more on DVD -- there seems to be no end in sight for the success of this film franchise. This is a quality film that should provide families with just as much enjoyment as the first movie did.
