Medicare 'D': It's time to sign up

Tomorrow is an important date if you or someone in your family is on Medicare. Saturday, November 15 is the first day to sign up for Medicare Part D health coverage and prescription drug coverage. The signup period lasts until December 31.

According to Jayhawk Area Agency on Aging, there are several resources available to help seniors in Northeast Kansas choose the right plan based on age, health, finances, etc. They include: 1-800-MEDICARE, the Medicare Web site, Jayhawk Area Agency on Aging (785) 235-1367
